Piroxicam falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorophyllin interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyllin with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyllin is a semi-synthetic derivative of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. Orally, chlorophyll has also been associated with the development of pseudoporphyria in multiple case reports.

Here's the thing with this pairing: it isn't about how your body breaks down piroxicam. Instead, both piroxicam and chlorophyllin can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight on their own, so taking them together may add up to a bigger sun-sensitivity effect. Piroxicam is already one of the NSAIDs more likely to cause sunburn-like reactions, rashes, or blistering after sun exposure.

That said, this is largely a theoretical concern, and the chlorophyll worry comes from a handful of case reports. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but it's smart to use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit strong sun. If you notice an unusual rash or easy burning, check in with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
