Here's the gist for Aleve Cold and Sinus, which pairs naproxen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) with pseudoephedrine (a decongestant). The naproxen part is what matters here. NSAIDs like naproxen can nudge your body to absorb and hold onto a bit more chromium. So the interaction works the other way around from what people usually expect: it's the medication possibly raising your chromium levels, not the chromium changing how the drug works.

The good news is this is rated minor and is only theoretical, based on how these drugs behave rather than on real-world problems in patients. For most folks it won't cause any noticeable trouble.
