Glyburide, Metformin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Devil's Claw interacts with.

Theoretically, devil's claw might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9.
In vitro research shows that devil's claw might inhibit CYP2C9, although this has not been reported in humans.

Here's the situation with your Glucovance, which combines glyburide and metformin. The glyburide part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. Lab studies hint that devil's claw might slow that enzyme down, which could let glyburide build up a bit more than usual. If that happened, the main thing to watch for is low blood sugar, things like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, hunger, or feeling foggy. The metformin side isn't really affected by this enzyme.

I want to be honest, though: this is only seen in test-tube research, never confirmed in actual people, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, since low blood sugar matters, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding devil's claw.
