Dhea + Enoxaparin
Enoxaparin brand name: Lovenox.
Dhea has a moderate interaction with Enoxaparin. Theoretically, DHEA might increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Enoxaparin
Enoxaparin falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Dhea interacts with.
Human and laboratory research show that DHEA and DHEA-S can inhibit platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Enoxaparin (Lovenox) is a blood thinner you inject, and it lowers your body's ability to form clots. The concern with DHEA is that some lab and human studies suggest it can make platelets (the cells that help blood clot) a bit less sticky. Stack that on top of a drug already designed to slow clotting, and the theory is you could bleed a little more easily.
Honestly, this is a theoretical caution based mostly on early research, not strong proof that it happens in real life. Still, since enoxaparin already raises bleeding risk, it's worth a heads-up. Watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or any unusual bleeding, and please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

About Dhea
What is Dhea?
- Anti-aging and low DHEA levels
- Mood and depression
- Vaginal dryness and sexual health
- Fertility support
- Muscle mass and athletic performance
- Adrenal insufficiency
DHEA is a natural hormone that the body makes and that declines with age, and it is sold as a supplement claiming many benefits. The evidence is mixed and limited for most uses, and because it acts as a hormone it can cause real side effects. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have a hormone-sensitive condition.
About Enoxaparin Injection
What Is Enoxaparin Injection Used For?
Brand name: Lovenox
Enoxaparin Injection is used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot in a deep vein that can travel to the lungs (pulmonary embolism). This includes people having abdominal surgery, hip replacement surgery or knee replacement surgery. It also includes medical patients with severely restricted mobility during acute illness.
It also treats acute DVT, with or without pulmonary embolism, along with warfarin. In heart care, it is used with aspirin to prevent ischemic complications of unstable angina and non-Q-wave heart attack. It also treats acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), a serious type of heart attack.

Enoxaparin Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Enoxaparin as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Dhea — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
