Here's the thinking behind this one. Fluorouracil (often given by IV during chemo) works in part by tamping down fast-growing cells, and some chemo regimens lean on a degree of immune suppression. Fermented wheat germ extract, on the other hand, has been shown in animal and lab studies to stimulate the immune system. So in theory, the two could pull in opposite directions, and the supplement might blunt some of what your treatment is trying to do.

I want to be honest with you though: this is a theoretical concern based on how things work on paper, not from human studies showing a real problem. Fluorouracil is serious chemotherapy, so please don't add this supplement on your own. Loop in your oncologist or pharmacist first so they can weigh it for your exact treatment plan.
