Here's the gist with Viibryd (vilazodone): it already raises serotonin in your brain to help lift your mood. There is some animal research suggesting fermented wheat germ extract may also nudge serotonin levels up. Put the two together, and in theory you could be stacking serotonin a bit higher than intended.

If serotonin climbs too far, that can show up as things like agitation, restlessness, shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, or an upset stomach. I want to be honest, though: this concern comes only from lab and animal studies, not from people, so it's a theoretical worry, not a proven one. Vilazodone is not a prodrug, so this isn't about it building up in your blood. Please loop in your oncologist or pharmacist before combining them.
