Aspirin, Caffeine, Hydrocodone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Fever Bark interacts with.

Theoretically, fever bark might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that yohimbine, a constituent of fever bark, inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme activity. The effects of fever bark itself are unclear.

This combo pill (Damason-P) packs aspirin, caffeine, and hydrocodone together. The piece that matters here is the hydrocodone, which is a painkiller your liver partly converts using an enzyme called CYP2D6. Fever bark contains a yohimbine-like compound that, in lab dishes, seems to slow that same enzyme down.

If that effect actually happened in the body, hydrocodone could linger a bit longer and feel stronger, meaning more drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing. But honestly, this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube data, not real people, and we don't know what fever bark itself does. Even so, fever bark carries its own risky alkaloids, so I'd run any use of it past your doctor or pharmacist first.

Reserpine, a constituent of fever bark, might increase or decrease effects of sympathomimetics. Also, yohimbine, another constituent of fever bark, has sympathomimetic effects and increases blood pressure in a dose-dependent manner. It is not known if this would occur with fever bark.

Here's the thing to focus on with this combo: your medicine (Damason-P) contains caffeine, which is the stimulant part that matters here. Fever bark carries plant alkaloids like reserpine and yohimbine that can tug on your blood pressure and heart rate in unpredictable ways. In theory, mixing them could either blunt or boost caffeine's stimulant effects, meaning you might notice extra jitteriness, a racing heartbeat, or swings in blood pressure.

I want to be honest about the evidence though: this is mostly theoretical and based on anecdote, not solid human studies, so it's hard to say it would actually happen. Still, fever bark itself can be risky. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing these.

Theoretically, combining fever bark with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs might have additive effects; however, this has not been reported in clinical research.
Research in healthy adults shows that taking yohimbine, a constituent of fever bark, in doses of 8 mg or more, seems to inhibit platelet aggregation in vitro by binding to the alpha-2 adrenoceptor. The effects of fever bark itself are unclear.

Here's the gist for Damason-P (aspirin, caffeine, and hydrocodone): the aspirin part already makes your platelets a little less sticky, which is part of how it helps with pain and inflammation. Fever bark contains a yohimbine-like compound that, in lab studies, also seemed to slow platelets down. So in theory, pairing the two could nudge your bleeding risk up a bit, meaning easier bruising, a longer time to stop bleeding from a cut, or rarely stomach irritation or bleeding from the aspirin.

I want to be honest: this is theoretical, based only on lab and animal data, and rated as minor. It hasn't actually been seen in real patients. Fever bark also carries its own concerns with blood pressure and heart rate. I'd skip it unless your doctor okays it, and check with your pharmacist first.

Fever bark is the bark of the Australian tree Alstonia constricta, used in traditional medicine for fever, diarrhea, and infections. There is very little reliable human research to support these uses, and the bark contains potent alkaloids that may cause serious side effects. It is best avoided unless used under direct medical supervision.
