Prednisone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Fever Bark interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inhibitors might increase the levels and clinical effects of yohimbine, a constituent of fever bark.
In vitro and clinical research shows that the fever bark constituent, yohimbine, is metabolized by CYP3A4 enzymes.

Here's a twist worth knowing: in this pairing, it's actually the supplement that gets affected, not your prednisone. Fever bark contains yohimbine, and yohimbine is broken down by an enzyme called CYP3A4. Prednisone can mildly slow that same enzyme down, so in theory the yohimbine from fever bark could build up to higher levels in your body.

What that might look like is more yohimbine-type effects: a faster heartbeat, jitteriness, anxiety, or a bump in blood pressure. I'll be straight with you though, this concern is theoretical, based on how the chemicals behave rather than real cases in people. Honestly, fever bark itself is one I'd steer clear of since it's potent and poorly studied. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
