Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIDIABETES DRUGS
Why this applies to Repaglinide
Repaglinide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Gymnema interacts with.
Gymnema reduces blood glucose levels in some human and animal research. In human studies, it has been shown to enhance the blood glucose lowering effects of hypoglycemic drugs. However, other research in adults with prediabetes or metabolic syndrome suggests that gymnema does not reduce fasting levels of blood glucose. Until more is known, monitor blood glucose levels closely.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the thing to keep in mind: Repaglinide (Prandin) lowers your blood sugar by telling your pancreas to release more insulin. Gymnema may also nudge blood sugar down on its own. So when you stack the two together, the effects can add up, and your sugar could drop lower than you intend.
That means watching for signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, confusion, or sudden hunger. The evidence here is moderate and somewhat mixed (some studies show gymnema lowers sugar, others don't), so this isn't a guaranteed problem, but it's worth taking seriously. Please don't start or stop anything on your own. Check your blood sugar more closely and talk with your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Repaglinide page
“Repaglinide (Prandin, GlucoNorm) is taken right before meals to drop blood sugar quickly, and that speed is exactly why this list deserves real respect. Nearly everything on it also acts on blood sugar, usually pushing it lower still and raising the odds of a hypoglycemic crash, though a handful, niacin among them, pull the other way a…”

About Gymnema
What is Gymnema?
- Blood sugar support
- Type 2 diabetes
- Sugar cravings
- Weight management
- Cholesterol support
Gymnema is an Ayurvedic herb best known for possibly helping lower blood sugar and reducing the taste of sweetness on the tongue. Some early human studies are encouraging for blood sugar support, but the evidence is still limited and not strong enough to replace standard treatment. If you have diabetes or take other medicines, talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.

Repaglinide Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Repaglinide as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Gymnema — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
