Here's the gist for your Konvomep, which pairs omeprazole with sodium bicarbonate. Your liver clears omeprazole largely through an enzyme called CYP2C19. In a test tube, hibiscus extract appeared to slow that enzyme down. If that held true in people, your body might break omeprazole down a little more slowly, letting levels drift up. Omeprazole is well tolerated, so any extra effect would likely be mild, things like headache, stomach upset, or loose stools.

The honest part: this is theoretical, based only on lab work, and has never been seen in real patients. A cup of tart hibiscus tea almost certainly won't matter. If you use concentrated hibiscus supplements, just mention it to your pharmacist.
