This combination pill contains amitriptyline (an antidepressant) and perphenazine (an antipsychotic). The liver enzyme CYP1A2 is one of the pathways that helps clear amitriptyline from your body. Indole-3-carbinol may speed that enzyme up, which in theory could lower the amount of medicine in your blood and make it work less well. That might mean your mood symptoms creep back, or you notice less benefit than before.

I want to be honest about how thin the evidence is here. This is based only on lab and animal studies, not real people, so it may not happen at all. Everyday broccoli or cabbage almost certainly won't matter; concentrated I3C supplements are the bigger question. Don't change anything on your own, just check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
