Levomethadyl (Orlaam) is a long-acting opioid that was used to treat opioid dependence. Like other opioids, it slows down the central nervous system, which can cause drowsiness, slowed breathing, and a slower heartbeat. The concern here is that jackfruit seeds might add a little extra sedation on top of that.

Honestly, this is a very mild flag. It comes only from animal studies, not human evidence, so we can't say for sure it happens in people. Eating jackfruit as a normal food is unlikely to be a problem. The caution applies more to concentrated seed extracts or supplements. If you're using one of those, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on any added grogginess.
