Felodipine falls under CALCIUM CHANNEL BLOCKERS — the group Magnesium interacts with.

Magnesium can have additive effects with calcium channel blockers, although evidence is conflicting.
Magnesium inhibits calcium entry into smooth muscle cells and may therefore have additive effects with calcium channel blockers. Severe hypotension and neuromuscular blockades may occur when nifedipine is used with intravenous magnesium, although some contradictory evidence suggests that concurrent use of magnesium with nifedipine does not increase the risk of neuromuscular weakness. High doses of magnesium could theoretically have additive effects with other calcium channel blockers.

Here's the simple version: both magnesium and felodipine work, in part, by keeping calcium out of the muscle cells in your blood vessel walls. That's how felodipine relaxes vessels and lowers your blood pressure. Because magnesium nudges in the same direction, taking a lot of it could, in theory, add to felodipine's effect and push your pressure down a little further than expected. That might show up as feeling lightheaded, dizzy, tired, or getting a headache, especially when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest though, this is mostly a theoretical concern based on how the two work, and the real-world evidence is mixed. Everyday food and normal magnesium doses are unlikely to cause trouble. If you take high-dose magnesium, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up so they can keep an eye on your readings.
