Chlorpropamide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Milk Thistle interacts with.

Taking milk thistle with antidiabetes drugs may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Clinical research shows that milk thistle extract, alone or along with tree turmeric extract, can lower blood glucose levels and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in patients with type 2 diabetes, including those already taking antidiabetes drugs. Additionally, animal research shows that milk thistle extract increases the metformin maximum plasma concentration and area under the curve and decreases the renal clearance of metformin, due to inhibition of the multi-drug and toxin extrusion protein 1 (MATE1) renal tubular transport protein.

Here's the short version: pairing milk thistle with chlorpropamide may push your blood sugar lower than you intend. Chlorpropamide already works by squeezing more insulin out of your pancreas, and some lower-quality studies suggest milk thistle (its silymarin compounds) can nudge blood glucose and HbA1c down on its own. Stack the two and the effect can add up.

What that looks like in real life is hypoglycemia: shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling faint. Chlorpropamide is long-acting, so a low can linger. I wouldn't panic, but don't start milk thistle on your own. Check in with your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep an eye on your home glucose readings if you do use both.
