Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Codeine Phosphate, Magnesium Hydroxide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group N,n-dmpea interacts with.

In vitro research shows that N,N-DMPEA strongly inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6). Theoretically, concomitant use with drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 might increase the risk for adverse effects from these drugs.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and others.

Here is the part that matters in this combo product: the codeine. Codeine is a prodrug, which means it does not do much on its own. Your body has to convert it into morphine using an enzyme called CYP2D6 before you feel real pain relief. The lab research on N,N-DMPEA suggests it can block that very enzyme.

So if this supplement slows CYP2D6, less codeine turns into morphine, and you may get weaker pain relief than expected. The aspirin and the antacids (aluminum and magnesium) are not affected by this pathway. Keep in mind this is only test-tube data, not human studies, so it is theoretical. Still, before mixing them, it is worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor.
