Here's the concern with pairing Sida cordifolia and Quizartinib (Vanflyta). Quizartinib is a leukemia medicine that is already well known for stretching out the heart's electrical cycle, something we call QT prolongation. In fact, this drug carries a strong warning about it, and doses are watched closely for exactly this reason. Sida cordifolia contains ephedrine, a natural stimulant that can also nudge the QT interval in the same direction.

Stacking two things that both affect heart rhythm can add up and, in a worst case, trigger a dangerous, irregular heartbeat (fainting, palpitations, or worse). The evidence here is largely theoretical, borrowed from ephedra studies, but with a drug this sensitive I wouldn't gamble. Please don't start this supplement without clearing it with your oncology team or pharmacist first.
