Phosphatidyl Serine and Phosphatidyl Choline are phospholipids — compounds that make up cell membranes and are thought to support brain health. Lecithin, a phospholipid-rich substance, provides 48 mg per serving.
Cephaline and Phosphoinositides round out the formula, though we hold limited data on their specific roles. The tablet also contains inactive ingredients: beet root juice, stevia, maltodextrin, and natural orange flavor.

The evidence for these ingredients is mixed and limited. DMAE Bitartrate is rated likely ineffective for Alzheimer disease and tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements), with insufficient evidence to rate it for aging skin, athletic performance, or ADHD.
Lecithin is similarly rated likely ineffective for Alzheimer disease, with insufficient evidence for age-related cognitive decline, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other uses. Overall, the data we hold doesn't establish strong effectiveness for this product's intended purpose.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
DMAE Bitartrate is generally tolerated by some adults, but side effects can occur and the evidence is limited. Common side effects include abdominal cramps, pain, diarrhea, drowsiness, nausea, and vomiting.
It's also been reported to cause headache, insomnia, confusion, mood changes including depression and hypomania, and in people with schizophrenia, worsening of symptoms — especially at higher doses. Doses above 1000 mg daily carry particular mood-related risk.
Lecithin is generally well tolerated and considered safe in food and supplement amounts, though it may cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, fullness, nausea, and allergic skin reactions in people with egg or soy allergies. For pregnancy, lecithin is rated likely safe; however, the safety data for DMAE Bitartrate in pregnancy and lactation is insufficient — talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.
