Amlodipine, Celecoxib falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Adrafinil interacts with.

Theoretically, adrafinil might reduce the effects of antihypertensive drugs.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to increase diastolic and systolic blood pressure. Retrospective analyses show that patients taking modafinil had a small but increased rate of requiring new antihypertensive drugs or increased use of antihypertensive drugs when compared with placebo.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Consensi, which combines amlodipine (a blood pressure medicine) and celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory). Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil can nudge your blood pressure up a bit. So in theory, it could work against the amlodipine part of your pill and make it a little harder to keep your numbers where your doctor wants them.

This is a theoretical concern, based on how these drugs behave rather than strong studies, so I don't want you to panic. Still, if you use adrafinil, it's smart to check your blood pressure at home and watch for headaches, flushing, or a racing heart. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining them, especially since adrafinil can stress the liver too.

Theoretically, adrafinil might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to reduce CYP2C9 expression in vitro.

Consensi combines two medicines: amlodipine for blood pressure and celecoxib, an anti-inflammatory pain reliever. The celecoxib part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. When adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, lab studies suggest it may slow this enzyme down a bit. In theory, that could let celecoxib build up slightly, which might mean more of its typical effects, like stomach upset, fluid retention, raised blood pressure, or a little extra strain on the kidneys.

I want to be honest about the strength here: this is only theoretical, based on test-tube data, not real patient reports. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but it's still worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing these, especially since adrafinil itself can be hard on the liver.

Theoretically, adrafanil might reduce levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to weakly induce CYP3A4 activity.

Here's the short version: your Consensi combo contains amlodipine (for blood pressure) and celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory for pain). Both are cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. When the body turns adrafinil into modafinil, that modafinil can mildly speed up CYP3A4. In theory, that means your body could break down these two medicines a little faster, leaving slightly lower levels in your blood.

If that happened, the amlodipine might not control your blood pressure quite as well, and the celecoxib could ease your pain or inflammation a bit less. To be clear, this is a theoretical concern based on how the drug works, not something proven in studies, and modafinil's effect here is weak. Still, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
