Here's the simple version. Mephentermine is a stimulant that raises blood pressure and revs up your heart, mostly by boosting norepinephrine (your body's adrenaline-like signal). Adrafinil, on the other hand, turns into modafinil in your liver, and modafinil has its own wakefulness-promoting, mildly stimulating activity. So we're really stacking two things that nudge your nervous system in the same direction.

The concern is additive stimulation. Together they could push your heart rate or blood pressure higher than either alone, and you might feel jittery, anxious, or have trouble sleeping. I want to be honest, though: this is a theoretical caution based on how these drugs work, not on solid studies. Still, please check with your doctor or pharmacist before pairing them.
