Secobarbital Sodium falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2B6 (CYP2B6) SUBSTRATES — the group Adrafinil interacts with.

Theoretically, adrafinil might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP2B6 substrates.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to weakly induce CYP2B6 activity in vitro.

Here's the gist: adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil may gently speed up an enzyme called CYP2B6, one of the liver pathways that helps clear secobarbital (Seconal). If that pathway runs a little faster, your body could break down secobarbital more quickly, which might leave it working less well for sleep. In plain terms, you may notice it doesn't help you fall or stay asleep the way it usually does.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's theoretical, based on lab studies and pharmacology, not on real people taking these two together. There's also a more obvious concern, since adrafinil promotes wakefulness and secobarbital is a sleep aid, they pull in opposite directions. Please don't change anything on your own. Loop in your doctor or pharmacist first.
