Here's the thing about pairing ashwagandha with fludrocortisone: this herb has shown some immune-boosting (immunostimulant) activity, so on paper it could nudge against medicines that are meant to calm the immune system. Fludrocortisone is mainly used to help your body hold onto salt and keep blood pressure steady (often in adrenal insufficiency), but at higher doses it also has anti-inflammatory, immune-quieting effects, which is where this concern comes from.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this is theoretical and based on lab and animal studies, not real-world human reports with this exact drug. If ashwagandha worked against it, you might notice your underlying condition flaring rather than new side effects. It's a low-probability concern, but before adding ashwagandha, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
