Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to simvastatin/ezetimibe
simvastatin/ezetimibe falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Dhea interacts with.
Some preliminary evidence shows that DHEA may inhibit CYP3A4; however, the clinical significance of this potential interaction is not known.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for your Vytorin. The simvastatin part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. There is some early, weak evidence that DHEA may slow that enzyme down a bit. If it does, simvastatin could build up a little more than usual, which can nudge up the risk of statin side effects like muscle aches, soreness, or weakness. The ezetimibe piece works differently and isn't really affected here.
I want to be honest though, this is mostly theoretical and based on limited lab-type evidence, not solid real-world cases. For most people it likely won't cause a problem. Still, since muscle issues with statins are worth watching, I'd just run it past your pharmacist or doctor before adding DHEA.

What These Ratings Mean
Every interaction above is graded three ways — here’s the key to each label.
Clinically significant. Avoid the combination, or use only under close professional supervision.
Usually worth avoiding or managing — may need monitoring, a dose change, or timing apart.
Generally not serious. Be aware of it and mention it to your pharmacist.
- LikelyWell-controlled human studies have demonstrated the likely existence of this interaction.
- ProbableInteraction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports.
- PossibleInteraction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
- UnlikelyInteraction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans.
- AHigh-quality meta-analysis (quantitative systematic review).
- BCase-control study.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the simvastatin/ezetimibe page
“Anyone taking simvastatin with ezetimibe (Vytorin) should treat this list with real care, since eight of its 184 entries are rated major and some involve everyday foods. Most of the list, 121 ingredients, runs through the CYP3A4 enzyme that clears simvastatin, and the traffic goes both ways.”

DHEA is a natural hormone that the body makes and that declines with age, and it is sold as a supplement claiming many benefits. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have a hormone-sensitive condition.

Natural Medicines records simvastatin/ezetimibe as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Dhea — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
