Your combination pill contains hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill that already nudges your body to release sodium. The concern here is simple: high-dose DIM (around 600 mg a day) has been tied to a couple of cases where blood sodium dipped low (called hyponatremia). Stacking it with a sodium-losing diuretic could, in theory, add to that effect.

Honestly, the evidence is thin and those low-sodium cases had no symptoms, so I wouldn't panic. But if you notice headache, nausea, confusion, muscle cramps, or feeling unusually weak or dizzy, that's worth a check. Food amounts of broccoli and cabbage won't do this; we're talking concentrated supplement doses. Please run DIM by your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.
