Here's the simple version of how Masterwort and Fosinopril might bump into each other. This isn't about how your blood pressure medicine is broken down. Instead, both items can make your skin more touchy in the sun. Masterwort contains furanocoumarins (the same family of compounds found in things like grapefruit and wild parsnip), and Fosinopril is also listed as a drug that can sometimes increase sun sensitivity. Stack the two and you may get that effect more easily.

What that looks like in real life: sunburning faster than usual, redness, or a rash on sun-exposed skin. Keep in mind this concern is based on how these compounds behave, not on strong human studies, so the risk is theoretical. If you do use both, wear sunscreen and cover up. And please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Fosinopril Sodium tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). They can be used alone or combined with a water pill (diuretic) when blood pressure needs more control.

Fosinopril Sodium tablets are also used as part of a treatment plan for heart failure, added on top of other standard therapies such as diuretics, with or without digitalis.
