Here's the gist with milk thistle and tibolone (Livial). Tibolone acts a bit like estrogen in your body, helping with menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, and bone protection. The concern on file is that one of milk thistle's compounds (silymarin) may latch onto estrogen receptors in lab and animal studies. In theory, that competition could blunt some of tibolone's estrogen-like effects.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it comes only from test tube and animal research, not from people, and it's rated minor. So this is more theoretical than proven. Still, if you notice your symptoms creeping back, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
