Aspirin, Hydrocodone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Tianeptine interacts with.

Tianeptine has sedative effects; high doses may have additive effects with other CNS depressants.
Higher doses of tianeptine have opioid like effects and may have additive effects with other sedative drugs. In one case report, a 42-year-old male presented with respiratory depression and aspiration pneumonia due to concomitant use of high-dose tianeptine and alprazolam.

Here's the concern with this combo. Your Lortab ASA contains hydrocodone, an opioid pain reliever that already slows breathing and causes drowsiness. Tianeptine, especially in the high doses found in those over-the-counter 'gas station' products, can act like an opioid too. Stacking the two means their sedating effects can pile on top of each other.

In plain terms, you could get more sleepy, foggy, or dizzy than expected, and in a worst case your breathing could slow dangerously. There's a real case where someone combined high-dose tianeptine with a sedative and ended up with serious breathing problems. This is based on how the drugs work rather than large studies, but the risk is worth taking seriously. Please talk with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing these.

Chronic use of aspirin might increase the levels and clinical effects of tianeptine.
Aspirin is converted to salicylic acid in the body. In vitro research shows that salicylic acid binds to the same protein sites as tianeptine, displacing protein-bound tianeptine and leading to higher levels of tianeptine in the blood.

Your medication here is a combo product: aspirin plus hydrocodone (an opioid pain reliever). The interaction on file is really about the aspirin part. When aspirin is broken down into salicylic acid, lab studies suggest it can bump tianeptine off the proteins it normally rides on in your blood. That can leave more free tianeptine floating around, which may strengthen its effects. Since tianeptine at higher doses behaves like an opioid, and your medicine already contains the opioid hydrocodone, stacking the two could pile on sedation, slowed breathing, dizziness, and constipation.

To be honest, this evidence is only from lab testing, so it's a theoretical concern rather than something proven in people. Still, I'd strongly urge you to talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining these, especially given the safety questions around tianeptine itself.
