Chlordiazepoxide, Clidinium Bromide falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Tianeptine interacts with.

Tianeptine has sedative effects; high doses may have additive effects with other CNS depressants.
Higher doses of tianeptine have opioid like effects and may have additive effects with other sedative drugs. In one case report, a 42-year-old male presented with respiratory depression and aspiration pneumonia due to concomitant use of high-dose tianeptine and alprazolam.

Here's the concern with combining tianeptine and Librax. The chlordiazepoxide part of Librax is a benzodiazepine, which calms the brain and can make you drowsy. Tianeptine has its own sedating effects, and at higher doses it acts a lot like an opioid. Stacking the two together can pile on, meaning more sleepiness, dizziness, slowed thinking, and in serious cases dangerously slow or shallow breathing. There's even a case report of someone developing respiratory depression while using high-dose tianeptine with a similar benzodiazepine.

This is based on how these drugs work rather than large studies, so it's a theoretical but real worry. Please don't change anything on your own. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor, and keep in mind that over-the-counter tianeptine products aren't FDA approved and carry their own serious risks.

Brand name: Librax

Chlordiazepoxide and clidinium capsules are used to help control both the physical and emotional factors involved in gastrointestinal (digestive) disorders. This includes use as add-on therapy for peptic ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome (also called irritable colon, spastic colon, or mucous colitis), and acute enterocolitis (sudden inflammation of the intestines).

Librax is one brand available in capsule form and is approved for the same set of gastrointestinal uses.
