Here's the thing to keep in mind with this combo. Your Ascriptin contains aspirin, which already thins the blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping together. Andrographis appears to do something similar, at least in lab and animal studies. So when you stack the two, you could be doubling up on that blood-thinning effect.

What might that look like in real life? Things like easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or a cut that takes longer to stop. Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based only on early research, not strong human studies, so I don't want to scare you. Still, since both nudge in the same direction, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, especially if you take aspirin daily for your heart.

Brand name: Ascriptin

Aspirin temporarily relieves minor aches and pains from headaches, backaches, muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, colds, and minor arthritis pain. It also temporarily reduces fever.

One tablet product (Wispirin) is specifically labeled to help adults who have already had a heart attack or stroke prevent another one — but only under a doctor's supervision. Several coated products note that because of their delayed release, they will not provide fast relief for headaches or other symptoms that need quick relief.
