Here's the simple version: your Monopril HCT is a combo pill that already lowers blood pressure two ways (fosinopril relaxes your blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide helps you shed extra fluid). Andrographis may also gently nudge blood pressure down on its own. So if you stack them, the worry is that your pressure could dip a little lower than expected.

What to watch for: feeling dizzy or lightheaded, especially when standing up fast, plus tiredness or a faint feeling. The good news is this concern comes mostly from animal studies, not solid human data, so it's more of a theoretical heads-up than a proven problem. Still, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't change your blood pressure medicine on your own.
