Here's the thing to keep in mind with this combo. The hydrochlorothiazide part of Monopril HCT is a water pill that can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, meaning you may burn faster or break out in a rash after time outdoors. Masterwort contains furanocoumarins, the same family of plant chemicals that also boost sun sensitivity. Put the two together and the sunburn risk could stack up.

I'll be honest, this concern is based on how these compounds behave, not on solid human studies, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, if you do use masterwort, be smart about sunscreen, hats, and shade. And please check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting any new supplement.
