Moringa + Fezolinetant
Fezolinetant brand name: Veozah.
Moringa has a minor interaction with Fezolinetant. Theoretically, moringa might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Fezolinetant
Fezolinetant falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Moringa interacts with.
In vitro research shows that moringa extract induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the situation with Veozah (fezolinetant) and moringa. Your body clears fezolinetant using a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. Lab studies (done in test tubes, not people) suggest moringa might speed that enzyme up. If it did, your body could clear the drug a bit faster, which in theory might make it work less well for your hot flashes.
I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and based only on very early research, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Fezolinetant is not a prodrug, so faster clearance means slightly weaker effect, not more side effects. Everyday food amounts of moringa are unlikely to matter much. Still, run concentrated moringa supplements by your pharmacist or doctor first.

Every interaction above is graded three ways — here’s the key to each label.
Clinically significant. Avoid the combination, or use only under close professional supervision.
Usually worth avoiding or managing — may need monitoring, a dose change, or timing apart.
Generally not serious. Be aware of it and mention it to your pharmacist.
- LikelyWell-controlled human studies have demonstrated the likely existence of this interaction.
- ProbableInteraction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports.
- PossibleInteraction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
- UnlikelyInteraction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Fezolinetant page
“The liver is the reason to be genuinely careful pairing supplements with fezolinetant (Veozah), the nonhormonal treatment for menopausal hot flashes. Fezolinetant carries its own liver-injury warnings and requires blood-test monitoring, and 38 of the 130 interacting ingredients on file can harm the liver themselves, adding a second str…”

About Moringa
What is Moringa?
- Nutritional supplement
- Blood sugar support
- Cholesterol support
- Inflammation
- Skin conditions
Moringa is a nutrient-rich plant whose leaves are widely used as a food and supplement, especially in parts of the world where malnutrition is common. Early research hints at possible benefits for blood sugar, cholesterol, and inflammation, but the human evidence is limited and not strong enough to recommend it as a treatment. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using moringa, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medications.
