Naltrexone falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Ostarine interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use with hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of adverse hepatotoxic effects.
Some clinical research shows that ostarine can increase alanine aminotransferase, a marker of liver damage, in some patients. Additionally, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that supplements containing SARMs, such as ostarine, have been associated with reports of liver toxicity and there are at least two reports of drug-induced liver injury attributed to the use of ostarine.

Here's the key concern with pairing these two: both can be tough on your liver. Naltrexone, especially at higher doses, can raise your liver enzymes and in rare cases cause liver injury, which is why your doctor may check bloodwork while you're on it. Ostarine (a SARM, not a real supplement) has also been tied to liver damage, including reports of elevated ALT and even drug-induced liver injury. Stacking two liver-stressing products together could, in theory, add up and raise your risk.

I'll be honest with you, this is based on how each one affects the liver rather than direct studies of the two together, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Still, Ostarine isn't FDA-approved and carries real safety concerns. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.

What Is Naltrexone Used For?

Brand names: Trexan, Depade, Vivitrol

Naltrexone Hydrochloride tablets are used to treat alcohol dependence and to block the effects of opioids in people with opioid dependence. The extended-release injectable suspension — sold as Vivitrol and also available as a generic injectable — is used to treat alcohol dependence and to prevent relapse to opioid dependence after a person has completed opioid detoxification.

All formulations are meant to be part of a broader treatment plan that includes counseling and other support — naltrexone works best when it is not used alone.
