Ostarine + Imipramine
Imipramine brand names: Tofranil, Tofranil PM.
Ostarine has a minor interaction with Imipramine. Theoretically, ostarine might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9, although clinical research suggests this is not clinically relevant.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Imipramine
Imipramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Ostarine interacts with.
Although in vitro research suggests that ostarine inhibits CYP2C9, more robust clinical research shows that ostarine does not significantly affect CYP2C9.
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the short version on combining Ostarine with imipramine (Tofranil). On paper, Ostarine was shown in lab dish studies to block an enzyme called CYP2C9, which is one of the pathways your body uses to clear imipramine. If that blocking actually happened in people, imipramine could build up and you'd see more of its typical effects, things like dry mouth, drowsiness, constipation, dizziness when standing, and a faster heartbeat.
The good news: better-quality human studies suggest Ostarine doesn't meaningfully change CYP2C9 in real life, so this concern stays mostly theoretical. My bigger worry is Ostarine itself, since it's an unapproved SARM tied to liver injury. Please run any plans past your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Imipramine page
“Imipramine (Tofranil) is an older tricyclic antidepressant, and the supplements on this page deserve real scrutiny before you add one. Most of the list acts on the liver enzymes that process the drug, so an ingredient can quietly raise or lower imipramine levels: grapefruit pushes them up, while St.”

About Ostarine
What is Ostarine?
- Muscle building
- Athletic performance
- Fat loss / body recomposition
- Bodybuilding cycles
Ostarine (also called MK-2866 or enobosarm) is an experimental, unapproved drug known as a SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator), not a true dietary supplement. It is not approved by the FDA, is banned in sports, and has been linked to liver injury and other serious harms, so it is not recommended for general use.
About Imipramine
What Is Imipramine Used For?
Brand names: Tofranil, Tofranil PM
Imipramine is used to relieve symptoms of depression. Both Imipramine Hydrochloride tablets and Imipramine Pamoate capsules are approved for this use. Endogenous depression — the kind that seems to arise from within rather than a clear outside cause — tends to respond especially well. It may take one to three weeks before you notice the full benefit.
Imipramine Hydrochloride tablets are also approved as a short-term, add-on treatment to help reduce nighttime bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis) in children aged 6 and older, after a doctor has ruled out physical causes.

Imipramine Is Linked to Lower Levels of 3 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Imipramine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Ostarine — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
