Alogliptin, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Cajeput Oil interacts with.

Animal studies suggest that cajeput oil might have hypoglycemic effects. Theoretically, taking cajeput oil with antidiabetes drugs could increase the risk for additive hypoglycemia. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, and others.

Kazano combines two diabetes medicines, alogliptin and metformin, that both work to lower your blood sugar. The concern here is simple addition: animal studies hint that cajeput oil may have its own mild blood-sugar-lowering effect. Stack that on top of your medication and, in theory, your numbers could dip lower than expected, leading to hypoglycemia (shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or a fast heartbeat).

I want to be honest about the evidence though. This is based only on lab and animal data, not human studies, so it's a theoretical worry rather than something we see happen often. Cajeput oil also shouldn't be swallowed. If you do use it, just keep an eye on your glucose readings and chat with your pharmacist or doctor before starting.
