Repaglinide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Cajeput Oil interacts with.

Animal studies suggest that cajeput oil might have hypoglycemic effects. Theoretically, taking cajeput oil with antidiabetes drugs could increase the risk for additive hypoglycemia. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, and others.

Here's the simple version: repaglinide (Prandin) lowers your blood sugar by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin, especially right around meals. In animal studies, cajeput oil has shown a possible blood-sugar-lowering effect of its own. So the theoretical concern is that the two together could push your sugar too low, which we call additive hypoglycemia.

If that happened, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, irritable, or suddenly hungry. I want to be honest though, this is based only on lab and animal work, not solid human studies, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. If you do use cajeput oil, check your blood sugar a bit more often and let your pharmacist or doctor know before starting or stopping anything.
