Daclatasvir Dihydrochloride falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Ceylon Leadwort interacts with.

Plumbagin, a constituent of Ceylon leadwort, has been shown to inhibit cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) in vitro. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. Theoretically, Ceylon leadwort might increase the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4. Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), clarithromycin (Biaxin), indinavir (Crixivan), sildenafil (Viagra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.

Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help clear daclatasvir (Daklinza) from your body. Ceylon Leadwort contains plumbagin, which in lab dishes appears to slow this enzyme down. If that same effect happened in people, daclatasvir could build up a bit higher than expected, which could mean more chance of side effects like headache, tiredness, or nausea.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is: the slowdown has only been seen in test tubes and animals, never confirmed in real patients, so this is theoretical. Still, because clearing hepatitis C matters and you want steady drug levels, I'd run any Ceylon Leadwort use past your pharmacist or doctor first rather than guessing.
