Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Oxybutynin
Oxybutynin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Ceylon Leadwort interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help break down and clear oxybutynin. Plumbagin, the main active compound in Ceylon Leadwort, has been shown to slow that enzyme down in lab tests. In theory, if that same effect happened in people, oxybutynin could hang around longer and build up, which may mean stronger anticholinergic side effects like dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, drowsiness, trouble emptying the bladder, or feeling overheated.
Here's the reassuring part: this is only seen in test-tube and animal research so far, and it has not been reported in real patients. So I wouldn't panic. Still, since the direction points toward more side effects, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Oxybutynin page
“Oxybutynin (Ditropan, Oxytrol, Gelnique) is an anticholinergic for overactive bladder, and its supplement interactions deserve genuine care rather than a quick skim. Most of the list comes down to drug levels: grapefruit juice can push oxybutynin higher and intensify its side effects, while St.”

Ceylon Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica) is a plant long used in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicine systems, mainly for digestion, skin problems, and pain.
