Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Gilteritinib Fumarate
Gilteritinib Fumarate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Ceylon Leadwort interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: your leukemia medicine, gilteritinib (Xospata), is cleared from your body largely by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Plumbagin, a compound in Ceylon Leadwort, has been shown in lab dish studies to slow that enzyme down. If that holds true in people, it could let gilteritinib build up higher than expected, which may mean more side effects like fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, muscle or joint pain, swelling, or changes to your heart rhythm (QT prolongation).
I want to be honest about the strength here: this is only theoretical, based on test-tube work, not real patient reports. Still, gilteritinib is a serious cancer drug, so I'd play it safe. Please check with your oncologist or pharmacist before pairing it with this supplement.

Ceylon Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica) is a plant long used in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicine systems, mainly for digestion, skin problems, and pain.
