Here's the gist for Pediazole, which combines erythromycin and sulfisoxazole. The erythromycin part is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Devil's claw might slow that enzyme down a bit, and if it does, erythromycin could build up a little higher than usual in your body.

If that happened, you might notice more of erythromycin's typical effects, like stomach upset, nausea, cramping, or diarrhea. In rare cases, higher erythromycin levels can affect heart rhythm. But honestly, this concern comes only from lab test-tube studies, not from real people, so it's theoretical and likely mild. Still, since you're already on a short antibiotic course, it's worth a quick check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding devil's claw.

In vitro research shows that devil's claw inhibits P-glycoprotein, which transports many drugs out of cells. This might increase intracellular levels of P-glycoprotein substrates, although it is unclear if this effect would be clinically important.

Here's the gist with Pediazole (that's erythromycin plus sulfisoxazole, a combo antibiotic used for ear infections in kids). Devil's claw has been shown in test-tube studies to block a cellular pump called P-glycoprotein, which normally helps shuttle certain drugs out of your cells. The erythromycin part rides on that pump, so in theory devil's claw could let a little more of it linger in the body.

If that happened, you might notice more of erythromycin's usual side effects, like stomach upset, nausea, cramping, or diarrhea. Honestly though, this is based only on lab research and is rated minor, so it may not amount to much in real life. Still, since this antibiotic is often for children, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.
