Hydrochlorothiazide, Losartan Potassium falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Jequirity interacts with.

In vitro research shows that jequirity extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Theoretically, taking jequirity may inhibit the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.

First things first: I'd steer you away from jequirity entirely. The red seeds contain abrin, a toxin in the same family as ricin, and there's no safe or proven supplement use for them. So the bigger concern isn't really the drug interaction here, it's the plant's poison.

That said, here's the interaction on file. In a lab dish (test tube only, not in people), jequirity extract slowed down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In theory, slowing that enzyme could let some medicines build up. With your Hyzaar, the losartan part is partly handled by that enzyme, so the theoretical worry would be a bit more blood-pressure-lowering effect, like dizziness or lightheadedness. This is weak, lab-only evidence and rated minor and unlikely. Please don't use jequirity, and check with your pharmacist with any questions.
