Trandolapril, Verapamil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Jequirity interacts with.

In vitro research shows that jequirity extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Theoretically, taking jequirity may inhibit the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.

First things first: please don't use jequirity at all. The seeds contain abrin, a poison in the same family as ricin, and there's no safe supplement form of it. That safety issue dwarfs any drug interaction here.

That said, here's the interaction on file. The verapamil half of Tarka is broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab dishes (not in people), jequirity slowed that enzyme down. If that held true in the body, verapamil could build up, which might mean more blood pressure lowering, a slower heart rate, dizziness, or swollen ankles. This is only test-tube data, rated minor and unlikely, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The real message is to steer clear of jequirity and check with your pharmacist or doctor.
