Limonene + Ramelteon
Ramelteon brand name: Rozerem.
Limonene has a moderate interaction with Ramelteon. There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9), as well causing its induction.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Ramelteon
Ramelteon falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Limonene interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version: limonene may gently speed up one of the liver enzymes (CYP2C9) that helps clear certain medications. Since Rozerem (ramelteon) is broken down in part by that same family of enzymes, a faster cleanup could mean a bit less drug sticking around. In plain terms, your sleep aid might work a little less reliably, so you could notice it takes longer to drift off.
But keep this in perspective. This idea comes only from lab and animal studies, and it hasn't actually been seen in real people. Everyday citrus in your food won't matter at all. The bigger question is concentrated limonene supplements. If you take those regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ramelteon page
“Ramelteon (Rozerem) is a prescription sleep aid, and its 228 interacting supplements call for real care, starting with the nine rated major. The frustrating part is that the things sleepless people typically reach for, kava, CBD, a glass of wine before bed, sit at the heart of the problem.”
