Febuxostat falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Ostarine interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use with hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of adverse hepatotoxic effects.
Some clinical research shows that ostarine can increase alanine aminotransferase, a marker of liver damage, in some patients. Additionally, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that supplements containing SARMs, such as ostarine, have been associated with reports of liver toxicity and there are at least two reports of drug-induced liver injury attributed to the use of ostarine.

Here's the concern with combining these two. Ostarine has been tied to liver injury, including raised liver enzymes (like ALT) in some people, and the FDA has flagged SARMs after real reports of drug-induced liver damage. Febuxostat (Uloric) carries its own warning about liver problems, with rare cases of serious liver injury. So we're really stacking two things that can each stress the liver, and together that risk may add up.

This is a theoretical concern based on how each one behaves, not a proven reaction between them. Still, I'd take it seriously. Watch for warning signs like yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, nausea, or unusual tiredness. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing these, and don't change your febuxostat on your own.

Ostarine (also called MK-2866 or enobosarm) is an experimental, unapproved drug known as a SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator), not a true dietary supplement. It is not approved by the FDA, is banned in sports, and has been linked to liver injury and other serious harms, so it is not recommended for general use.

About Febuxostat

What Is Febuxostat Used For?

Brand name: Uloric

Febuxostat (available as tablets and a dissolving oral film) is used to chronically manage hyperuricemia — high uric acid levels in the blood — in adults with gout. It is specifically for people who have not responded adequately to the highest tolerated dose of allopurinol, who cannot tolerate allopurinol, or for whom allopurinol is not appropriate.

Important limitation: febuxostat is not recommended for people who have high uric acid but no gout symptoms (asymptomatic hyperuricemia). It is also not recommended for patients whose high uric acid is caused by other conditions such as cancer treatment or Lesch-Nyhan syndrome.
