Here's the situation: Puravive contains Panax ginseng, and some studies suggest ginseng can nudge blood sugar a little lower on its own. Vildagliptin (Galvus) already works to bring your post-meal glucose down by boosting your body's own insulin response. So stacking the two together could add up to slightly lower blood sugar than you'd expect from your medication alone.

The good news is this is rated a minor interaction, and vildagliptin by itself rarely causes low blood sugar. Still, watch for signs like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling unusually hungry. If you decide to try Puravive, check your glucose more closely at first and loop in your pharmacist or doctor before starting.
