Entrectinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Terminalia interacts with.

Theoretically, use of Terminalia arjuna may increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Terminalia arjuna extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes and reduces CYP3A4 substrate metabolism.

Here's the thing to know about entrectinib (Rozlytrek): your body clears it largely through a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies suggest Terminalia arjuna can slow that same enzyme down. If that happens in real life, entrectinib could build up to higher levels than expected, which may mean more side effects like dizziness, fatigue, swelling, constipation, changes in taste, or effects on your heart rhythm.

I want to be honest about the strength of this concern. Right now it's theoretical, based only on test-tube research, not on people taking these two together. Still, entrectinib is a serious cancer medicine, so I wouldn't add Terminalia without first checking with your oncologist or pharmacist. Don't change anything on your own.

Terminalia is a group of traditional Ayurvedic tree species (most notably Terminalia arjuna) used for heart, digestive, and general wellness purposes. About Entrectinib

What Is Entrectinib Used For?

Brand name: Rozlytrek

Rozlytrek (entrectinib) is used to treat adult patients with ROS1-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), as confirmed by an FDA-approved test. It is also approved for adult and pediatric patients older than 1 month of age who have solid tumors — any cancer type — that carry an NTRK gene fusion detected by an FDA-approved test, provided the tumor has no known acquired resistance mutation, is metastatic or cannot be surgically removed without severe harm, and has progressed after prior treatment or has no satisfactory alternative therapy.

The NTRK gene fusion approval in solid tumors was granted under accelerated approval, meaning it is based on tumor response rates. Continued approval may depend on results from confirmatory clinical trials.
