Dutasteride, Tamsulosin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Uva Ursi interacts with.

Theoretically, uva ursi may decrease the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro, uva ursi appears to inhibit CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Jalyn combines two medicines, and the tamsulosin part is handled by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab dish studies, uva ursi seems to slow that enzyme down a bit. If that happened in real life, tamsulosin could build up slightly, which might mean more dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, or a stuffy nose. Dutasteride is also processed this way, but it tends to be more forgiving.

Here is the reassuring part: this effect has only been seen in test tubes, never in people, so it is very theoretical. Still, since uva ursi is meant only for short-term use, it is worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

Uva ursi is a traditional herb used mainly for urinary tract infections, and its leaves contain a compound called arbutin that may have antimicrobial effects in the urine.
