Lofepramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) SUBSTRATES — the group Uva Ursi interacts with.

Theoretically, uva ursi may decrease the metabolism of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro, uva ursi appears to inhibit cytochrome CYP2C19. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the basic idea. Lofepramine is a tricyclic antidepressant, and one of the enzymes that helps your liver clear it is called CYP2C19. In lab dish testing, uva ursi seemed to slow that enzyme down. If that same thing happened in people, your body might break down lofepramine a little slower, letting more of it build up.

Higher levels could mean more of the usual lofepramine side effects, like dry mouth, constipation, drowsiness, blurry vision, or a faster heartbeat. I want to be honest though: this has only been seen in test tubes, never in actual patients, so it's theoretical for now. Still, since uva ursi is meant for short-term use anyway, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
