Here's the gist for this pairing: uva ursi seems to do its germ-fighting work best when your urine is on the alkaline (less acidic) side. Racemethionine (Pedameth) does the opposite, it's used to make urine more acidic. So in theory, taking them together could blunt whatever benefit you're hoping to get from the uva ursi. This isn't about Racemethionine becoming dangerous or building up, it's simply that the two are working against each other in the urine.

Keep in mind this is a theoretical concern based on how each one works, not something proven in studies, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you're using both, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
