This combo cold product (Coricidin HBP) has three pieces, and the one to watch here is dextromethorphan, the cough suppressant. Your body clears it using an enzyme called CYP2D6. In lab studies (not in people yet), plumbagin from Ceylon Leadwort slowed that same enzyme down. If that happened in real life, dextromethorphan could build up a bit, which might mean more drowsiness, dizziness, or feeling foggy. The chlorpheniramine in this product can already make you sleepy, so any added effect stacks on top of that.
To be fair, this is only theoretical and based on test-tube work, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you plan to use both, it's worth a quick word with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Here's the honest picture with this combo cold product (the brand you may know is Coricidin HBP). Ceylon Leadwort contains a compound called plumbagin, and in test tube studies it slowed down a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. In theory, if that enzyme runs slower, certain medicines it processes could build up a bit. This has not actually been seen in people, so the concern is mostly on paper for now.
Of the three ingredients here, the dextromethorphan and chlorpheniramine pieces are the ones I'd watch most. Higher than expected levels could mean more drowsiness, dizziness, or grogginess. That said, the evidence is weak. To be safe, I'd still run this past your pharmacist before pairing them, especially in larger supplement doses.

This combo cold medicine has three pieces, and the one that matters most here is dextromethorphan (the cough suppressant). It's partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In test-tube studies, plumbagin from Ceylon Leadwort slowed that same enzyme down. If that held true in real life, dextromethorphan could build up a bit, which might mean more drowsiness, dizziness, or a foggy, off feeling. The chlorpheniramine in this product can add to that sleepiness too.
The good news: this is only a lab finding, and it has never been reported in actual people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since this hasn't been studied much, run it past your pharmacist or doctor before pairing the two, especially if you feel unusually groggy.

The piece of this combo product that matters here is the acetaminophen (Tylenol). A small part of acetaminophen is handled by a liver enzyme called CYP2E1. In lab dish studies only, plumbagin from Ceylon Leadwort appears to slow that enzyme down. In theory, blocking it could nudge acetaminophen levels up a bit.
I want to be honest about the evidence though: this has only been seen in test tubes, never reported in real people, so I would not lose sleep over it. The bigger, well-known concern with acetaminophen is simply not exceeding the daily limit, since too much stresses the liver. If you take Ceylon Leadwort regularly, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up so they can keep an eye on things.

Ceylon Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica) is a plant long used in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicine systems, mainly for digestion, skin problems, and pain. Solid human studies are lacking, and the plant contains plumbagin, a compound that can irritate skin and tissues and may be unsafe in larger amounts.
