Lesinurad, Allopurinol falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Epistane interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use might have additive adverse hepatotoxic effects.
Epistane is an anabolic androgenic steroid, and more specifically a 17-alpha-alkylated androgen. Therefore, there is concern that epistane has hepatotoxic effects. Also, epistane is structurally similar to epitiostanol, which has been associated with hepatotixicity in a case series of four patients.

Here's the thing to know about Duzallo (which combines lesinurad and allopurinol): both of those gout medicines already ask your liver to do some work, and they can occasionally raise liver enzymes on their own. Epistane is a methylated anabolic steroid that's known to be hard on the liver. So the worry here is simple math, two liver stressors stacked together could add up and increase your risk of liver trouble.

To be fair, this concern is theoretical, based on how these substances behave rather than on real cases of people combining them. Still, signs like yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual fatigue would be worth taking seriously. Honestly, I'd skip epistane entirely (it's not a legal supplement), and please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before mixing anything with Duzallo.
